A fixed post may fit a property where approved duties require ongoing presence during a selected window.
Post orders should name the location, coverage hours, authorized duties, prohibited actions, contacts, access procedures, breaks or relief expectations, reporting, and emergency escalation. Unverified duties should remain out of the proposal.
The approved plan may require activity notes, exceptions, incidents, notifications, and authorized photographs when supported by the configured process. Management should know the report format and timing before launch.
A standing post concentrates attention at one location. Mobile patrol or property checks may fit a property that instead needs defined visits across several areas or sites. Combined coverage requires clear responsibility and staffing.
